AND, again, according to Orbit's posts - they are not sure if google home compatibility will be a software upgrade or if WE WILL HAVE TO BUY A NEW 2ND GENERATION UNIT. **Q: Can you connect a rain sensor to this device?** A: Yes, the timer supports a physical rain sensor in addition to the smart watering rain delays. The app does not currently recognize the physical rain sensor but the timer will work properly. Unplug the timer before connecting any external accessories including rain sensors. **Q: will it run with android phone?** A: Yes **Q: Does this work with Samsung Smartthings?** A: Currently this does not.
