Review: I was rear-ended at a red light eight years ago and have struggled with back and neck problems ever since (I'm 29 now). After reading "Treat Your Own Back" I purchased this to try and alleviate some of the tension I feel in my back in the morning. It definitely helps, but it just doesn't stay in place. I have a small waist, but it seems to fit the way it's supposed to (I ordered the XS). I've tried in against my skin, over a loose shirt, and over a tight shirt, and nothing keeps it from sliding toward the knotted end, rendering it useless. I do, however, sometimes sleep on it untied (so laying flat against the bed) and that helps. But I'm a stomach sleeper and have to physically move it when I move from my stomach to my back and back again... It would be amazing if it stayed in place- a five-star product! Review: This helped my lower back. However, the roll smashed out of shape early.
