It was larger than I thought it would be, which is fine with me. It is very solid and a very good weight. I am using mine to decorate the kitchen so I have yet to use it for cooking. It’s really too beautiful to use for cooking. Ha ha

**Q: What percentage of copper is this pot?**
A: Although the manufacturer says this is 1.2mm thick Copper, my experience after purchasing it is that it is not copper lined with tin, rather tin lined with copper! Probably 5% copper - just a film of pure copper on the outside.

**Q: Can i use in my oven?**
A: Hi, I would not put this in the oven.  It does not do well in high heat and gets really hot.  Keep it on top of the stove and never cook past medium heat.

**Q: How good is this at making hard candy? It needs to reach 320f**
A: My Mom has used it to make candy and likes how it cools off quickly after heating up quickly.

**Q: Is this dishwasher safe?**
A: We wash it in the dishwasher and it's fine.
