Not only was installation a breeze, its extremely stable, durable, and practical for a variety of mounting options. I bought it for a low basement ceiling because it hugs the I-beam allowing for less slack. I have some adjustments yet to make to my heavy-bag chains so I can bring the bag up higher, but I suppose this a situation where being a little vertically challenged isn't such a bad thing! By the way, this mount also does a superb job in absorbing any vibrations that you'd get with a wood mounting system.
