The drawer slides very nicely. It also has either a rubber or silicone stopper which provides a nice snug closure. The wood detail puts it over the top. It is a good price point for the material. It is not some cheap plastic container but something that you will have for as long as you like. It surprisingly holds more large vitamins than I thought. For reference it holds approximately 4 large pills such as fish oil and 4 small pills the size of folate very easily. There would not be a problem adding 2 additional large pills. I tried it and it still closed very nicely.
