They’re amazing pencils for beginners and those new to pastel, and a great part of the toolbox of more experienced artists who know when and how to utilize them to give their paintings a soft, ethereal feel. Love, love, love these pencils. They’re also sold open stock in El Maayergy where you can find a wider range of colors not necessarily available in boxed sets. I can’t live without their skin tone colors (the darker reds, beiges, pale yellows, light greens, soft and petal pinks, ochres and umbers). Would highly recommend. 10/10, no notes except sometime, rarely tho, the cores in some pencils can be defective but I’ve found that this is the case with most brands, including some high end ones. Nothing’s perfect but these are still a SOLID choice, and one of my all-time favorite pastels. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Creamy *by on Reviewed in the United States 8 July 2025* So smooth and creamy. Easy to blend with my pastels. Beautiful colors.
