A: No this is not good. if the steel grates on your stove are damaged or have Middleburg sticking up please file them smooth or replace them this is probably what's damaging the pants not the pants himself the pans are made in canonsburg PA by All-Clad send photos and a written letter to them and let them informed them of what's going on thank you

I've used this pan almost every day since I got it about 2 months ago. The coating hasn't scratched and still does what it's supposed to do - prevent food from sticking. Be sure to take note of the measurements, the height may be shorter than expected, but for me it was a good one size fits all pan.
