I actually bought two after trying the first one. The compactness is ideal for product shots but if you are in a bind and need some light you can pull this out and generate a fair amount of light. The light comes with a rubber/silicone diffuser which stays on very well and offers a very pleasing soft light. Even with the diffuser the light is very bright. Of course the ability to cycle from warm to cool light is impressive but the light also has some unique effects like lightening, fire, tv and police ambulance lights. BUT the standout feature is the app which allows you to control one or more lights. The SIDUS app is pretty impressive . It is ideal when you put the light out of reach and need to adjust lighting parameters.
