Not the brightest but stands upright and has an angle adjustable lamp head. Works great as a spotlight, but without being too bright (most of the lights I have are useless as they are too strong and just end up being blinded by reflected light)... this is slightly less powerful with a hint of yellow tinge, but very very visible. The head adjusts to almost 180 fore/aft. Given it has an LXT battery on the base it stands well, and its not too bulky. I was trying to see inside something when lying under the car and I could easily position it so my hands were free to do work.It also has a hanger hook/loop which is useful.
