Since you have this model, I measured the amount of liquid it holds and it is 18oz. I'm sure they recommend filling 16oz of liquid soap without worried of overflow. Sorry, I did not measure the OD of the pump as it passes through the sink. I would not think an UNDER 1" in diameter hole would be sufficient.
