If your well water has a funny taste i would recommend trying it. The latest version of our filters contain Zeolite, GAC carbon, and a number of other minerals. Zeolite is a 100% natural crystal that has been proven to effectively remove a high percentage of heavy metals, chloramines, chlorine, and fluoride from water. We have lab tested our filters using several water samples. The results show that a very high percentage of, but not all, things are removed. The materials used in our filters have been rigorously tested by authority bodies such as SGS and independent ISO 17025 labs, as well as our own in-house engineer driven lab testing facilities to ensure quality from the start. While our filters effectively clean, increase the alkalinity and re-mineralize the water, we have not tested it for the removal of the chemicals mentioned.  We also do not claim that our filters remove microorganisms from the water.   Hope this helps!
