Please help! 😢** A: Oil based sharpie paint markers and other oil markers work best. PAC NW is incorrect. Acrylic pens smear like heck with an application of mod podge. If you bake acrylic onto a ceramic cup, the acrylic will fade, especially if it's acrylic/alcohol based sharpie!! Best to decorate a cup (or bowl or whatever) with oil paints, bake the dish, then apply a layer of this mod podge. I have not tried the spray version, but it might work better than the paint on sealer with acrylic. I imagine if you have used acrylic markers and let them dry thoroughly, if you spray it gently with the sealant, it MIGHT keep the colors protected and stop it from running. If so, I would do several coats of the spray, letting each dry for a day in between. TLDR; paint-on Mod Podge and acrylic markers/alcohol markers do not get along! Use oil paint pens, bake, then seal with paint on Mod Podge for best results. **Q: Is this Non-toxic ? can this be used to fix dinner bowls we daily use ?** A: I would not recommend using this if you were using it on the inside of the bowl. **Q: Is this FDA approved as food-safe?** A: The Mod Podge products are non-toxic, but they have not been approved for contact with food. Therefore, we do not recommend using them for areas that will come into contact with someone’s mouth or direct contact with food. **Q: Can it be used to seal other mod podge treated crafts? I made a few decoupage glass pieces using mod podge gloss and would like to seal them.** A: It might be.
