## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the seat height?**
A: Says 18 but I am surprised at how high it is. I am 5'4" and my feet skim the floor. I need to use something to put my feet on.

**Q: Is there a bar at the front of the seat by the underside of your knees? Does it irritate?**
A: If you are wider yes. It isn't behind your knees but the front arm support bars will push into your under thigh. I just measured and there are 19 1/2 inches between the inner side of the arm support bars. If your legs are wider than that sitting you the arm bars will push on you.

**Q: Is there head support, if you wanted to lay your head back for a nap?**
A: Nope, no head support and not much back support either.

**Q: How is this chair in the sand?**
A: The chair itself is really sturdy so it holds up well

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Game Day and Fishing Favorite!
*by on Reviewed in the United States January 14, 2024*

As someone who spends a lot of time at kids' outdoor sports games and enjoys the occasional fishing trip, I've found the Coleman Big-N-Tall Quad Chair to be an absolute must-have. This chair has significantly enhanced my comfort during long days on the sidelines or by the water.First and foremost, the size and strength of this chair are perfect for me. It's roomy and comfortable, easily supporting my weight and height without feeling flimsy. Sitting in this chair for hours during games or while waiting for a catch has been a breeze, thanks to its sturdy and spacious design. The cup holder and side pocket are standout features that add to its convenience. Keeping a drink handy during intense sports matches or having a place to stash my fishing gear within arm's reach has been incredibly useful. I no longer have to juggle multiple items or constantly get up to grab something from my bag.The water-resistant aspect of the chair is another big plus. Whether it’s morning dew on the grass at a sports field or splashes from the lake while fishing, the chair stays dry and comfortable. This is essential for me, as it means one less thing to worry about in the great outdoors.Portability is key for any outdoor chair, and the Coleman Big-N-Tall Quad Chair nails it. It folds up easily and fits into its carrying bag, making it simple to transport to sports fields, fishing spots, or even just to store in the car.In conclusion, the Coleman Big-N-Tall Quad Chair is a fantastic investment for anyone who, like me, spends a lot of time outdoors at sporting events or fishing. It combines comfort, durability, and practicality, making it an ideal outdoor chair that meets all my needs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice big comfy. Heavy. Sturdy.
*by on Reviewed in the United States July 26, 2026*

Nice, big, comfy chair. Sturdy. I am 5'4" and 265 lbs. Its plenty big for me, and a little too tall. I carried it in its slipcase over my shoulder for about 6 blocks. It did get pretty heavy and uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to carry it much further. But I like the chair.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the money
*by on Reviewed in the United States October 31, 2020*

I absolutely love these chairs. I don't feel like they'll fall over just sitting in them. They sit higher which makes them easier to get in and out of. They are large and sturdy and I can fold my legs up underneath me. The canvas is very thick and I don't think it would be easy to tear and will last a long time. I am so impressed I've bought more for our kids and their families.Update 7/4/2024, after 5 years of use: I'm still impressed. We have other camping/canvas chairs but, we always grab these (I bought more). These have been on the creeks, rivers, and lakes and in the creeks, rivers, and lakes. There's nothing like sitting in cool spring fed creeks and rivers when it's hot and humid imho. They've been at numerous bonfires, our grandkids soccer games, baseball games, and even basketball tournaments because there wasn't enough seating. They've been on very rocky, sandy, grassy, and hardwood surfaces. They've been left in the rain. The drain hole in the center of the seat works very well and you don't notice it when you sit in them. Two of the chairs stay in the trunk of our car, two of them stay in our truck, and two of them stay on our pontoon so we can bank or lake sit. We keep them in the storage bag when not in use and they've withstood everything, even the grandkids. There are no tears, rips at seams, rips of any kind actually, or holes. All the seams are still tight which still makes the seat and back tight. There is no stretching of the fabric. The metal frame has no rust! They're in the water a lot. When the chairs get dirty I use a dish brush, I like the long handle the best, and when I'm at the creek or river I use the brush to loosen the dirt and the chairs look good as new. The powder coat is still intact. All the metal is still strong. The weight limit is 600 pounds. We have a friend that is over 400 pounds and he fits comfortably in these chairs and he is able to sit down and stand up with ease. They are taller than 'regular' chairs which is so much easier to get in and out of for anyone. I'm 5'2" and I have had three back surgeries and these chairs are very easy to get in and out of for me. So if you're tall and/or have some weight or have had some sort of surgery that makes it hard to sit in 'regular' camping/canvas chairs I believe you will love these chairs. They are worth the money.
