It is thick enough that it doesn't splice when you try to unroll it, like all the other brands I've used. The only brand that is more sticky than this is the Gorilla brand but that is a tape that has other uses that need very very strong stick. This one is perfect for packing and other tape needs. It is very clear, it doesn't stink and it unrolls so easily!! When you put the first part against a box, it is very very easy to continue rolling it out along the box and taping it. It is strong and tapes boxes closed very securely.I am SO impressed with this tape. Definitely my favorite tape and the best packing tape ever, in my opinion !
