I used the tool to push out the old pins and a needle nose pliers to gently push the new pin in. It took some wiggling. Once I got the new pin about half way, I had some trouble getting it through the rest of the way. So, I pushed the tool in from the other side to help line it up. Seems to be a thinner band than the original, but robust enough. Super easy install, less than five minutes. Suggest a small tack hammer to lightly tap the two pegs into place. Repeat: lightly. Solid construction, durable material; seems better than the original Polar band. Large strap with multiple sizing options and includes double loops to hold strap in place, and three piece easy to use install kit. Super snug, super comfortable fit! I tried finding replacement bands on Polar.com to no avail.
