I am quite statistically challenged when it comes to pulling something off well so I've wasted a lot. Advice is to keep it in small pieces that are ready to go right where you want. Once you disconnect it, tear the non-sticky part off well right there if you've ever done something bad and unconsciously you know that it can be ugly you might just smash it right into the middle of your face! I do not even a little believe the commercial with the boat being held together by the stuff, I find putting it on wet surfaces to be more of the put a piece of paper on a wet surface experience still, I carry around for rolls cause it's good for making up whichever headlight or tail light you smash off, nice fits there.
