Ours are set to o.3 . Dont forget that the reading although in 0.1 of a degree could still be inaccurate. It has a calibration function for you to change the display up or down if you can find the exact temp it is measuring **Q: Is there a way to calibrate this thing? It is accurate at 70 deg F, but it says 175 when the actual is 200.** A: CA value range is -15 ~15 . Maybe the probe is in the wrong position. Please change the probe to another position and try to calibrate it. For example, the reading temperature (PV) is higher 3 degrees than the current temperature, please set CA= -3. The reading temperature is lower 2 degrees, than the current temperature, please set CA=2.
