**Q: Does either the standard or olympic version open enough to slip over a 1.5" bar? I'm not using a 1". Thanks.**
A: I can only answer to these clips.  They will only work on a 2" olympic sized bar.  With 1/2 inch gap they would fall right off. 
My 1 inch clips also would never expand to half again their size.  You might have to look for another safety option or get a regulation sized bar.

**Q: What is the width of the collar?, my sleeve has many weights and very little space for a wide coollar.**
A: 20 mm at its widest part where the handle wires overlap making 4 wires side by side and 14 to 15 mm at the remaining part with 3 wires

**Q: Will these fit a 1.06" bar?**
A: This specific listing is for a 2" bar so I don't think they would fit. They would be too big for a 1.06" bar as that is only slight bigger than a 1" bar. 

Even if it was a 1.6" bar, I still think they would be too big as they're sized to fit a 2" bar which would still be a half inch bigger than a 1.6" bar.

You might want to look for similar collars but in 1" as there could be some stretch to make it over a 1.06" bar.

**Q: Will this work on threaded bar ends?**
A: These are meant to be used on smooth, non-threaded ends.
