It's really a marketing scam. I've been using this product for years. The new vanilla has a chemical taste. So, besides trying to mislead you with "more" of anything, they messed-up the taste. **Q: Should this only be used as a recovery drink?** A: If you're question is whether or not this is a "pre workout" drink - it's not. It should be taken whenever you would need PROTEIN not necessarily exclusive to "recovery".
