It’s sometimes a little tricky to get tight but this got better after a few times so I would say not a significant issue. For the price I’m happy. There are belts with big heavy clips and leather that I tried that hurt your ribs while squatting and add weight. This one is good for weighted cardio and compound movements like deadlifts and squats.
