...and also for those who who aren't so good at remembering stuff, and sometimes put pen or pencil to paper to make sure they can recall what's important to them.I'm not so good at remembering things, and have relied on a variety of note taking products over the years to make up for this deficiency. Moleskine's bound notebooks (in variety of form factors) have long been my choice. However, the UK-made and leather-bound offerings from Monsiuer are great alternatives for those who want their memory aids to have more permanence than you might get with Post-Its or index cards.The construction details in this notebook will be familiar to Moleskine users (especially the elastic closure band and the page marking ribbon).Monsieur notebooks up the ante of daily writing elegance with the use of leather for the binding and cover.I tested this with multiple writing tools:-0.7mm gel pen (my favorite daily writing choice)-10mm gel pen-#2 pencil (1.3mm)-ball point penIn each case, the writing was smooth and easy. Nice notebook. Real leather too. Select with confidence.Note: this item provided for review purposes.

This is a great leather notebook. The material is well made and very durable. The Monsieur Notebook comes in many sizes and different colors. The ones I have received for free to review are black and burgundy. It also comes with a black ribbon bookmark.
