I had my mom on liquid supplements because it was easier for her to take them, but those had to stop when she went into the facility because they are banned by state regulations. So instead you have to switch to capsules, which are more expensive, and the staff have to mix them into pudding or applesauce to administer. So ridiculous. If you want mom to get supplements not available through Omnicare, the only way to make it happen, other than by hiring private aides to administer them on the sly, is to buy the supplements and put them into these blister packs yourself.
