I replaced my old factory AUX input with this one and the installation was easy breezy (thanks, YouTube!). I did have to use a butter knife to pop the original port out, but once it was loose, swapping in the new one took seconds with no other tools necessary. This replacement works like a charm. I am not a car person- i have never repaired my own car - (i am a computer IT person so maybe a tiny bit more knowledgeable then the average person maybe?) But this was easy to install and use. Took out old part inserted new working part. Works as intended, no noticeable difference in sound quality or issues. Fixed my issues, and didnt have to pay an arm and a leg.
