First impression is that the lights are easy to assemble and install on the vessel, and feel very sturdy. The lights themselves are plenty bright and would appear to be plenty visible during a moonless night on the water. A drawback is that the quick releases feels like it does not want to come apart easily, the light itself on the mount, so do not force that as it is plastic housing. I also had to modify my bow light so it would be oriented straight, but each vessel is different. I am pleased with these lights. I think they are a relatively inexpensive item that will keep you legal and may keep you safe while anchored or running at night.
