I bought the flash about a year ago as a back up flash. I barely used it and the flash bulb burnt out on it very quickly. Unfortunately the warranty just ran out when it quit working and i have to trash a barely used flash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Flash, with some limitations *by A***O on July 11, 2013* I've had this flash for a couple of years now, and it still works flawlessly. I normally deploy it for event photography, where the ETTL saves me some time. The main problem I have is that the trigger pin is different than most flashes, so radio triggers (such as cowboy studios, or cactus), won't trigger them (so in those occasions, I just deploy it as an optical slave and shoot it in Manual mode, or with a TTL cord [and use my other flashes in Optical Slave mode]).Aside from that, I need to send it to Sigma for an update, as I upgraded my main camera, and the flash and the camera don't communicate too well (free upgrade by Sigma in NY, so I'll just miss my flash for a bit).This was my first speedlight, and it helped me a lot to understand light, and to lose the fear for strobes. I would recommend that you also purchase a TTL cord to get the flash off axis from the lens (out of the camera). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Performs as expected *by M***S on March 3, 2008* This flash performs as expected. Weight balance is average, slides in and out of mount without problem, and has a good rotate-click mechanism for positioning light.
