The electronic remote that comes with your original key fits perfect. Not sure what chip you are asking about. **Q: I have 2012 honda cr-v. i can’t get the key in the piece the holds it. any suggestions?** A: I have a 2007 CRV. Mine did not snap in the case. There are tiny slots on the back part that I had to slide the black key holder into. It’s like sliding a cabinet drawer back in. It does not tell you that in the instructions. One side of the key holder was more slanted in my case. After I got it going right, no problem. **Q: Do you have one of these for the 5 button with electronic sliding doors?** A: No 3 button ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended for 2009 Honda Fit Users *by on Reviewed in the United States 31 August 2026* Good key fob.
