Operating at 7 amps and 208 volts, it dries hands in just 10-15 seconds, three times faster than conventional dryers. Certified for energy efficiency and sustainability, it meets GreenSpec standards and earns LEED credits, making it the smart, eco-conscious choice for modern commercial spaces. ## Description Excel's research team has developed the Xlerator with patented technology that delivers three-times-faster hand drying performance. Conventional hand dryers take from 30 to 45 seconds to get a user's hands totally dry, and very few of us are willing to wait that long. With the automatic sensor-activated Xlerator, not only do your hands get dry in 10 to 15 seconds, but consumer test participants report that their hands also felt warm, soft and really dry. Not only does the Xlerator dry hands in one third of the time required by conventional hand dryers, our hand-drying system is designed to run on 15-amp service (making it great for older buildings). The combination of these two factors results in 80 percent less energy cost per use vs. conventional hand dryers. Xlerator is the first hand dryer to be GreenSpec Listed because it meets a number of GreenSpec standards; conserves energy, has low maintenance requirements and reduces waste. Xlerator helps your facility qualify for several different LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Credits in the new 2009 Rating Systems including EA Credit 1 - Optimize Energy Performance, now a mandatory credit for any LEED-certified facility. Xlerator also lowers a facility's Carbon Footprint. Ask to see our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Study Results. Converting to the Xlerator hand dryer will result in more than a 95 percent savings vs paper towel costs. In addition to paper towels, the following costs are also eliminated: ordering, storing, replenishing, collecting and disposing of bacteria-laden paper towel waste. This results in a Payback of Less Than One Year. Suggested mounting height from floor to bottom of dryer: 45" for men, 43" for women, 41" for teenagers, 35" for children, 37" for Handicapped. The hand dryer shall be guaranteed to be free from defects for a period of five (5) years. Warranty shall include factory performed labor as well as the repair or exchange of defective parts, at manufacturer's option. ## Features - Dries hands completely in 10 to 15 seconds - Uses 80 percent less energy - 95 percent Cost Savings versus Paper Towels - Greenspec listed and helps qualify for Leed credits - Source reduction alternative, promotes hygiene ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005CD2NBE | | Best Sellers Rank | #222,225 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #50 in Commercial Hand Dryers #51,504 in Bath Products (Home & Kitchen) | | Date First Available | July 7, 2011 | | Item Weight | 14.15 pounds | | Item model number | XL-SB8-208V | | Manufacturer | Excel Dryer | | Product Dimensions | 15 x 14 x 10 inches | ## Images ![XLERATOR XL-SB8 Automatic High Speed Hand Dryer with Brushed Stainless Steel Cover and 1.1 Noise Reduction Nozzle, 7.0 A, 208 V - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/412azY0+jUL.jpg) ![XLERATOR XL-SB8 Automatic High Speed Hand Dryer with Brushed Stainless Steel Cover and 1.1 Noise Reduction Nozzle, 7.0 A, 208 V - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41x6f1GDicL.jpg) ![XLERATOR XL-SB8 Automatic High Speed Hand Dryer with Brushed Stainless Steel Cover and 1.1 Noise Reduction Nozzle, 7.0 A, 208 V - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31rS2Wi-7FL.jpg) ![XLERATOR XL-SB8 Automatic High Speed Hand Dryer with Brushed Stainless Steel Cover and 1.1 Noise Reduction Nozzle, 7.0 A, 208 V - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41VC9qkjavL.jpg) ![XLERATOR XL-SB8 Automatic High Speed Hand Dryer with Brushed Stainless Steel Cover and 1.1 Noise Reduction Nozzle, 7.0 A, 208 V - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41S9e9K1elL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - XLERATOR XL-SB8 Automatic High Speed Hand Dryer with Brushed Stainless Steel Cover and 1.1 Noise Reduction Nozzle, 7.0 A, 208 V - Excel Dryer 40502 XLERATOR Recess Kit for XLERATOR Hand Dryer - Bobrick Sanitary Napkin Disposal Wall Mounted Stainless Steel Flip Top Receptacle for Public Restrooms, 1-Piece Design with 1 Gallon Waste Capacity (Model B-270) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/24125964-xlerator-xl-sb8-automatic-high-speed-hand-dryer-with-brushed](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/24125964-xlerator-xl-sb8-automatic-high-speed-hand-dryer-with-brushed) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
