Fantastic! - Where has this been for the past decade of my life. This all metal carbonator is the absolute dream. Easy to attach the small carbonator bottles and can take the cord for attachment to at 5# CO2 bottle. It looks sleek, fits easy on my counter and above all works well right out of the box. The carbonation is excellent and I love watching the bubbling in the bottle as it carbonates. If you are looking to get out of the Soda Stream proprietary line, this is what you are looking for as an upgrade. Yes it is worth it for sparkling water that you add things to if you want. Does not work with juices and flat soda as the sugars can get into the nozzle and block future use of the machine. Review: Best carbonator I've ever used - To start, I really like carbonated water. I carbonate and drink 3 liters per day. I bought this carbonator 3 1/2 years ago and it's still going strong. It works well, and I prefer the screw-in method for bottles compared to the "quick lock" mechanisms. Why? Those quick lock machines end up dying after 12-24 months of use. Either the lock mechanism fails or the gasket that makes it have a seal deteriorates or breaks. After going through 5 or 6 Sodastream machines (their machines are crap) and one KitchenAid machine, I read about aarke. It's much higher quality, and I'll never buy another machine using quick lock. aarke is an expensive machine without a lot of bells and whistles, but it works really well and is very durable. ## Features - Refined Stainless Steel Craftsmanship: Ditch the outdated, plastic soda machine models of the past. I had the plastic fizz soda stream which I replaced at least 3 times because of breakage. I purchased the aarke and use the carbonator and 1 liter plastic bottles from my soda stream with it. **Q: Can you carbonate juice?** A: The official answer is no. It is not recommended by the manufacturer. However, many people have played around and figured out ways to make it work for juice, coffee, tea, and other liquids. You should google the specific juice you want to carbonate and see what others have done. **Q: Does this have a hole in the bottom to connect a hose from a bigger bottle?** A: It utilizes a 60L carbonation container, I use the soda stream one. If the hose had the same fitting on the top, I assume it would work; but I make two liters of water a day with this machine and my current 60L bottle has lasted over 70 days so far! **Q: Are there any glass bottles available? If not will you consider glass in the future?** A: I will not use glass as under its pressure and at work a glass bottle would eventually get broken. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works right out of the box. At first I used it for soda flavors, but then started using teat packets to make fruit flavored water. On average, daily use is at least 4-5 liters per day. I just noticed that I seemed to be going through more tanks lately. So I looked it up online, the unit comes with a spare gasket at the bottom apparently, Mine did not have one, for whatever reason. I send customer service an email about where I could get a replacement, and they are sending them out. I have used several other carbonators in the past, this one as out lasted all of them. It's also looks great and is exceptionally well made. It looks as good as the day I bought it. The best part of the design is the open housing, it is much easier to clean as it air dries naturally, the drip plate is easy to remove, and also is old metal. So you don't get the wear and tear that you see on ones made from plastic. ## Frequently Bought Together - aarke - Carbonator III Premium Carbonator-Sparkling & Seltzer Water Maker-Soda Maker with PET Bottle (Stainless Steel) - aarke Extra PET Stainless Steel Reusable Bottle for Carbonator l, ll, and 3, BPA-Free and Non-Toxic, 800ml (2-Pack) - aarke CO2 Gas Refill Pack - 2 Cylinders, Carbonator Compatible With Most Sparkling Water Maker Appliances, Soda Machine Parts And Accessories (2-Pack) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/240540072-aarke-carbonator-3-premium-sparkling-water-maker-stainless-steel](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/240540072-aarke-carbonator-3-premium-sparkling-water-maker-stainless-steel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
