The switch is very sturdy & well made. I use it on my lawn tractor so it gets a lot of outdoor time in sometimes dusty or wet conditions. It works perfectly. **Q: Is there such a thing as a switch like this that is always on and you have to lift the safety cover and flip the switch to turn an accessory off?** A: If you can turn the switch upside down and keep the cover in its regular position that will do it. Jury is out on the cover *by N***. on October 30, 2017* I bought this to control a sprayer on my tractor. The cover is nice to keep you from accidentally hitting the switch. The switch seems like a quality component, but the plastic cover seems weak.
