And it is just what I needed. It's compact, sturdy, lightweight, adjustable and very affordable. My one complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it came with no instructions for setting it up. I'm not the kind of person who can look at something like this and immediately see how it's supposed to work. And I guess I'm short on patience for that kind of thing. Thank goodness another reviewer was kind enough to shoot a video of how to set it up! This holds my Iphone (4s) fairly snug and securely, even when tilted quickly or placed in a similar motion. When set up as a tripod the plane is a little un-level and not adjustable to compensate, but you get what you pay for I guess. For pistol grip or table mounted selfie use it works fine.
