Whole foods boost vitality, alleviate allergies, remove doggy odor, and ensure clear eyes and a glossy coat. This fresh diet also reduces risks of diseases like diabetes, arthritis, and cancer. **Q: What kind of meat do I use with the Know Better Premix?** A: Fresh, human-grade meat (8-15% fat) is the main ingredient for dogs, who thrive on protein. Choose from beef, poultry, lamb, or exotics. Organ meats are fine, but since Know Better Premix already contains liver, no extra liver is needed in this diet. **Q: Can I add vegetables to my dogs food?** A: Adding vegetables is optional with our products. If added, they must be lightly steamed. Include: pure canned pumpkin, squash, zucchini, carrots, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, sweet potatoes, yams, cucumber, brussels sprouts, & parsnips. **Q: How much will my dog eat?** A: Daily serving: 0.4 x dog's weight (lbs) = oz per day. Split into 1-2 meals. Adjust for age and activity. For example, a 30 lb dog needs 12 oz. Active or large dogs may need more, and they do well with added lightly steamed vegetables for extra carbs. **Q: Do I need to supplement my dog food with anything else?** A: Prepared as suggested, our products offer a complete, balanced diet for dogs of all ages. Recommended by holistic vets for over 24 years, we suggest rotating a variety of meats and vegetables. Mix up the combinations to see what your dog enjoys best! ## Frequently Bought Together - Know Better for Dogs – Chicken Recipe, RAW Dog Food Premix/Supplement for Making Homemade Dog Food, All Natural, Holistic Veterinarian Approved, Grain Free, No Artificial Additives - Know Better for Dogs - Beef Recipe, RAW or Cooked Premix/Supplement for Making Homemade Dog Food, All Natural, Holistic Veterinarian Approved, Grain Free, No Artificial Additives - Know Better for Cats – Chicken Recipe, RAW Cat Food Premix/Supplement for Making Homemade Cat Food, All Natural, Holistic Veterinarian Approved, Grain Free, No Artificial Additives --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/23929689-know-better-chicken-recipe-premix-for-raw-and-cooked-homemade](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/23929689-know-better-chicken-recipe-premix-for-raw-and-cooked-homemade) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
