I have had a number of their flavors I add it to my drink with creatine and other things and drink it daily. It doesn’t have too much sodium like some electrolyte drinks. Not too much caffeine like some preworkout drinks. So it’s a good fit to have some extra caffeine and electrolytes without being too overwhelmed be either. The taste is great and I have tried a few of them. It’s one of the cheapest ways to get an energy and electrolyte drinks. Much cheaper than the small pouches. Too much coffee gives me heartburn so it’s a great alternative. It works great at giving energy and keeping me hydrated. The powder dissolves quickly and easily. Review: Great Energy Boost Without the Jitters - Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy has become one of my favorite pre-workout supplements. The Fruit Fusion flavor tastes great—refreshing, not overly sweet, and easy to drink before a workout or even as a mid-day energy boost. It mixes well with water and doesn't leave a gritty texture behind. What I like most is the balanced energy. The combination of green tea and green coffee extract provides a noticeable lift in focus and motivation without the harsh crash or jitters that some high-stimulant pre-workouts can cause. The added BCAAs and amino acids are a nice bonus for supporting training and recovery. The flexibility of the serving size is another plus. I can use a smaller amount for a light energy boost or increase it before more intense workouts. With 65 servings per container, it also offers excellent value. Overall, this is a versatile and effective supplement that delivers clean energy, good flavor, and solid workout support. I would definitely purchase it again. ## Features - AMINO BLEND - a perfectly blended mix of amino acids to aid in muscle recovery - ENERGY BLEND - 100mg of Caffeine to help boost energy and help you get through the day or a grueling workout - MENTAL FOCUS - don't allow the day to get the best of you, the unique formula in ESSENTIAL AMIN.O. You will have to swirl it around the bottle as it has some sediment type stuff that may settle if left undisturbed. Still good though.Edit to add, there is another Amino from the same company the PRO version, has more aminos and no stimulants, only comes in 2 flavors though, not the same as these. **Q: Best flavor** A: Watermelon and Grape are the best. Orange and Pineapple were good, not great. **Q: Do you take this instead of muscletech whey for example.** A: Muscletech whey is a protein. Amino Energy doesn't contain protein, it's used for an energy boost pre, during or post workout. So you'd use them in conjunction with each other. **Q: is there any artificial colors and sweeteners?** A: Yes, natural and artificial sweeteners, sucralose (splenda), and phenylalanine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best electrolyte energy drink on the market. *by Z***H on June 14, 2026* I love this product. See video for my thoughts. *by A***S on March 10, 2026* This is my second purchase and first review of this product. The caffeine level is adequate for a nice boost, but comes on slowly and is from green tea and guarana so no jitters. Green tea often has a calming affect on users. I like the mixed berry flavor, but really can't point to one that stands out which may be the way it's designed. Providing the essential amino acids (our bodies can't make these) is a nice touch, low sodium and calorie count. I use collagen in mine when i mix it each morning for a nice adder. I recommend it, this is the 65 serving container and you will use 2x scoops in around 10-12 oz of water. ## Frequently Bought Together - Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy - Pre Workout with Green Tea, BCAA, Amino Acids, Keto Friendly, Green Coffee Extract, Energy Powder - Fruit Fusion, 65 Servings (Packaging May Vary) - Optimum Nutrition Micronized Creatine Monohydrate Powder, Unflavored, 120 Servings, 600 Grams (Packaging May Vary) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/2376300-optimum-nutrition-amino-energy-powder-fruit-fusion-1-lb](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/2376300-optimum-nutrition-amino-energy-powder-fruit-fusion-1-lb) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
