I need to know if it will fit in a suitcase.** A: Approx 2.5-3ft…I was surprised how small the package was when received. I would think it would fit diagonally in a large checked bag size suitcase. Worst case tape the pieces together and take it as a carry-on. **Q: Do each pieces float independently? We just lost our bottom piece of another paddle.** A: I’m not sure. I haven’t test it.
