It still worked but during a time where online connection is essential and even a day without internet would be a disaster, we thought to upgrade that one. Our old box had several blinking lights on it and antennas sticking out. This one is taller but much simpler. Just one green light (which presumably would turn red in case of a problem). Its quite expensive but attaching it was in a snap. The ethernet connections were up immediately. I turn off the wireless as our home network goes first through an other firewall which then has the WIFI router. Also the WIFI however worked immediately (and would for me be a backup, just in case the other router would blow). I just wish they would make these boxes less expensive. For me it was worth it as it brings a bit more peace of mind. It was easy to set up. But I’m not sure if it works with the speeds it is supposed to.
