It also had to be foldable in case I wanted to transport it anywhere else.The legs fold out easily and four stays hold them in the open position. My garage floor is perfectly level, and the table legs do not rock, so they must be level too. The table top is not rigid in the way that one with fixed legs would be. There is a slight movement if you try to pull it backwards and forwards. This is no doubt due to its construction and the need to have foldable legs. Consequently it might not suit everyone's needs, but for my purposes it's just right.I note that the description says "heavy duty". I don't know what the definition if that is, but I'm not about to put it to the test. Light to medium duty might be more accurate.I should add that the 'corrugated' appearance is because I'm temporarily using the protective cover that was inside the box as extra protection for the time being.
