Of course I made my purchase in November in west Michigan so it's a little hard to judge the ventilation, but I have rode with it open and I can tell that it is better than my Shoei GT Air. I wear a size large and this fits great! I have one other modular helmet from another manufacturer and the the Neotec II is more comfortable and quite than that one. The appearance of the Metallic Anthracite is beautiful. This is the first helmet that I have owned without D rings and I have to play around with the adjustment a little as I seem to feel the buckle on my neck.
