The build quality is killer. Thick plastic on a steel plated bottom gives it the feel and weight of high end equipment. The ONLY goofy thing, this is very minor and this is pointed out in videos I've seen on the unit, is that the ribbons for the pitch and modulation will DEFINITELY be scraped or rubbed by the left hand during use, by accident. Just the nature of the design, if it gets too aggravating you can put a piece of cardboard over that area.
