I have weak fingers, and the ones that hold tight at the top are too hard for me to move the spring-loaded bar. This one holds and is easy to move. I can grab the top easily and move the bottom as well. In fact, the bottom bar doesn't have to be completely closed to work. What a nice relief. The back is good quality and takes up no more space than any other and is smaller than a clipboard. I like it.

I love this book holder. I bought it because I get a lot of large print books from the library. These books are thick and heavy to hold. So I needed a book holder to make reading more comfortable. I wanted something that holds the nook while I am lying on bed and makes it easy to set it up with each set of page turns. This fit the bill. The flip-up page stop holds the nook open even when the page distribution is lopsided due to being at the very start or very end of the book. I sometimes have to angle the book slightly to read the words that are close to the center of the pages, but it's not problematic. I am happy with the colors from which to choose and I like how it is lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space either. Overall, a good product for the money!
