Review: Quality Oil Filter - I have been installing this oil filter every time I've changed the oil in my 2016 Ford F150, 2.7L V6, since I bought the truck new. I have never had any known engine oil or oil filter related issues while using this product. I only use full synthetic motor oil. My truck currently has 53k on the odometer and still runs great! The filter comes with 3 replacement rubber "O" rings; 2 large and 1 small, which should be replaced on the plastic oil filter housing unit every time you change your oil. Consider using a razor blade to cut/remove the old "O" rings from the oil filter housing. The only complaint that I have is installing the small "O" ring on the oil filter housing. Installing the small "O" ring will seem like an impossibility but it can be done with a little persistence and applying a small amount of lubrication to the "O" ring. Just ensure that you maintain control of the small "O" ring during installation! Sometime it can pop/slip from your fingertips during installation and launch itself a considerable distance away from you! After installing the new filter into the filter housing unit and re-installing it back into the top of the engine, I would recommend using a torque wrench to prevent accidental over tightening. Remember, the filter housing is made out of plastic and you do not want to crack it!

**Q: Fits 2017 2.7 eco boost?**
A: Yes. Fits the 2.7L twin turbo. The little rubber o-rings can be difficult to replace but helps to put a bit of oil on them first.

**Q: Lincoln mkz 3.0t 2018?**
A: only on the v6 engine

**Q: Does this fit on a 2020 MKZ?**
A: If your engine is 2.7L Ecoboost.

**Q: Will this fit my 2017 ford edge sport 2.7**
A: Hello Kurt.  Before I give my researched answer let me strongly recommend you consult your vehicle's Owner's Manual.  That said, your vehicle requires a Motorcraft FL-500S spin-on oil filter.  This oil filter is a canister oil filter and NOT for your vehicle.  Also, my research revealed that the FL-500S has a pressure-relief valve to help minimize the chance of contaminated oil circulating back into the engine (very important).  Please consult your owner's manual and use Motorcraft oil filters since some other brands may not have this pressure relief valve.  Of note, this filter is for my 2018 Ford F-150 STX with a 2.7 Eco-boost engine.  Thank you.

I have been installing this oil filter every time I've changed the oil in my 2016 Ford F150, 2.7L V6, since I bought the truck new.
