The least expensive fix was to cover up these tiles with decorative adhesive tile. These are not really tile but they get the job done. They look attractive, cover the holes and last. The image I was shown looked like the tiles were shiny, giving it a 3d image feel. That is not the case. There is a top film and the glue backing. The actual tile is a mat finish and FLAT! I can't use this for the purpose I bought it for. Have you ever bought cheap linoleum tile because you thought it was pretty in the store? Then, when you got it home you saw just how affordable it was and even worse what it looked like on your floor. You thought you would cover it with a rug. After a while, the sticker part would peel up, leaving the backing stuck to the floor. Needed something to protect back wall (just had been painted). The painter did the not the greatest caulk job with sink to wall so cut some of the silicone away and put in two rows of tiles directly behind sink and then on left wall of sink. These tiles don't stick to silicone (just FYI). The adhesion is in a sink/water environment and some started to pop out of place either on top or bottom so I just put a glue stick to the back of the and it's perfect. I also bought some really thin vinyl white trim to frame tiles. Looks super! So just a reminder - the tiles have a thin plastic protector on the front of them that you will want to peel off (or not) and the trim also has a very thin plastic on front in case you opt for that product. Course tiles are self stick w/ peel off backing.
