Review: UV light - Got the LED UV lights to show blacklight paint on a posters. Although it doesn't seem to have the brightness or range of a black light florescent tube it did work quite well. It has the advantage of being a lower voltage (thus can cut and use shorter sections on a 12v car battery) and easier to apply and hide. Very please with the product. In the past I've found the glue on the back not to hold all that well so I don't rely on it (fasten with other means) and didn't get a remote with the purchase.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: This is two 16ft rolls, does it come with an LED connector to combine the strips?**
A: They are premade to connect into the same power source like a splitter. They run side by side and not as a continuous length

**Q: If you use a 12v power source with more amps (more wattage) will it increase the brightness?**
A: 12V/2A power source included in the package is enough. I tested it with 12V/3A power,it has no big difference in the brightness.

**Q: If i have to cut it, will it work without a connector seeing as how the product does not come with any.**
A: Since the LEDs are grouped in lots of 3 you will need to cut it along the copper connectors marked with the scissors (any where length to suite).  Then all you need do is solder a wire to the copper connector paying close attention to the proper polarity and apply the proper voltage (12 volts). It should work.

**Q: How long is one of them?**
A: Total 2 roll lights in the package, each has 16.4ft/ 5m , total 33ft/ 10m.

### ⭐ Transformer/powersupply not able to power both strands for longer than 5 minutes

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Mine officially died this morning after owning it for about 6 weeks. I purchased it on December 5th and I use these for curing UV resin parts... typically for about 10-15minutes at a session. I installed both light strands in a 5 gallon bucket with the cords running out the bottom. I quickly found out within the first week that if you use BOTH light strands the transformer/power supply gets REALLY hot after about 5 minutes of continuous use and usually about that time the transformer starts to fail and the lights start flashing. So, I unplugged one strand and was using it that way. I only used this setup for larger pieces that would not fit in my other commercial curing stations. Sadly, this morning while we were curing it just shut off and will not turn back on. DEAD. Back to square 1.
