Review: Perfect for females - It rests quite comfortably on my shoulder, and as a woman of a more substantial build, I found the most convenient way to utilize it; it is perfectly suited for its price.
Review: Flexible, comfortable and it works! - Pretty flexible shoulder pouch for muscle rehab. You get a large gel pad that kind of moulds to the contour of your should, sat in a pocket on the pad. The gel's ice cold in around 30 minutes, so not too long to wait (I didn't want to keep it in the freezer). A bit of a faff to put on, but you get used to it quickly. Easy to adjust the chest strap, to keep it all in place. It's comfortable to wear at rest, I've not been really active in it, so can't comment on if it stays in place when moving. I'm using it for cold therapy, so haven't tried heating the pad. Looking at the design though, It should work just as well. The only gripe for me is holding the top part around the curve of the shoulder toward the neck. Maybe the large size would have worked? Overall I'm satisfied with outcome - no ibuprofen needed on the days when I use it!

**Q: Is an ice pack included with the purchase of the brace, or does one have to purchase the ice pack in addition?**
A: The ice pack is included.

**Q: Does this stabilize the shoulder too or just hold the ice pack in place?**
A: I don't think it's made for stabilizing.  Perhaps if you really cranked down on the straps, and removed the ice it might provide some support, then it could mold to your shoulder, but not while the ice is in it.  Also, the straps for me were real long.  When I tightened them they touched each other and I would have liked to tighten another 1-2 inches.  I'm 147, 5'6" if that helps you know the strap lengths for yourself.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the ice pack?is is made for left dhoulder**
A: The ice pack itself is approx. 9x10.  It fits into the black sleeve holder.  The unit is adaptable to either shoulder.

**Q: Instead of removing gel pack, is it ok to put entire brace on the freezer with the gel pack already inside?**
A: I've done that and the whole pack was wet. Very uncomfortable.

Well made and seems robust. Fits well over the shoulder/arm, is flexible and easy to adjust. The ice pack insert remains flexible straight out of the freezer and is easy to fit in the pouch. I use it for about an hour and is effective for that period of time. Indispensable for relieving the pain from my Calcific Tendinitis.
