I like the way the subjects are presented and developed. With the appropiate equations so you have to have a background. It is also supported by some history of the engines development which makes a perfect reference book

This is a wonderful book for the price. It by no means will make you an aerospace engineer, but if you're wanting a more in depth knowledge of how turbines work this book will take you to that next level. Like I said, not a college level text book, but if you want to know more than "suck, squeeze, bang, blow" this book is a great place to start.

You're not learning thermodynamics, but for a jet engine introductory source... it's perfect. I'm able to read it like a story book, which I appreciate it. It's worth it.
