I did need to buy the extension clips as I was using it on a much bigger tank than was allowed, hence the extension clips they now sell. My only issue was the turtles =) Supposedly it takes a little time for them to get use to the new structure above/ramp in water. Tried for almost a month but no joy. Watched you tube videos from other owners that worked no problem after a few days to a week or so, so I know it works. Figure its like people, either you like it or you don't.
