This saw gets the job done for most household projects—it's lightweight, cordless, and easy to control. Blade changes are super simple, and the battery life is decent, though I wish it came with a second battery.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5, OK for DIY Small Projects, But Drains Batteries Super Fast.

Works for easy DIY, but definitely not for Professionals. I am giving it a 4/5 because it requires a lot of batteries and stops a lot as it uses up the batteries energy quickly. It also likes to bind up in general, even when going slowly. BUT, but...for our light-weight DIY uses, cutting 1"X3" deck boards, and some weather treated 2"X4"s, it eventually got the project done. We have 6 Black+Decker 20V batteries that this circular saw drains super fast, so, eventually, I found myself having to have 2 batteries charging, and when the saw would stop mid-cut, trade off with the partially drained batteries until I got through all of the boards that we needed sawed. So, my recommendation is to have a lot of batteries, because it will drain them all fast, even when they're fully charged. Otherwise, it eventually cut all of the deck boards that we needed. So, small DIY jobs, yes...Professional or jobs that you want to do fast, no...We're still going to keep it though.
