Review: So happy - I am soooooo glad I bought this. We always joke (it’s not a joke to me) that our pup went right from puppy breath to poop poo breath. Her breath was horrendous and just kept getting worse. The vet said that was just her and shared no concerns as her teeth and gums are healthy. I have never noticed a dog sleeping with her mouth open and drooling and waking up with a dry mouth (maybe this is normal but I’ve just never noticed before). Her breath was getting so bad I didn’t even let her get her face close to me at all. I finally couldnt stand it anymore so I went searching on desertcart to see if there was anything that would help. I started reading about the products offered that have a lot of reviews and the overall rating was 4.5 or higher. I always go to the negative reviews first because I want to know the cons first. The cons in this product weren’t that bad so I went to the pros and testimonials and thought the worst thing that could happen is that it just wouldn’t work. This product works. I can’t say that enough, IT WORKS. I noticed a change the very first night. She has now been using it for a week now and her breath keeps getting better and better. Now I must say you should read the directions first (which I didn’t do) for how much to use. I dumped a third of the bottle into 2.5 gallons of water which was way too much. Because of the cost I didn’t want to throw the water out and start over so I just researched and it said there was nothing in this product that she could overdose on so I kept the water. We have a fountain bowl so the water is constantly fresh. I noticed they didn’t like the taste but they need to drink so they are drinking it just not as much as before. When I add more water it just continues to dilute it so I’m getting closer to the recommended dose. When I do totally change the water out I will add the recommended dose and I’m sure they will not taste it at all. Now when I tasted and smelled it I could not taste or smell it at all but my senses are not as sharp as theirs obviously. For 2.5 gallons of water I should have only used around 10-12 teaspoons lol😝. Now I commented that the price was high because it is high if you buy it and it doesn’t work ( I wish that I could have gotten a sample size). Now that I know it works the price is extremely affordable. As for the side effects mentioned in the cons the only one I had is the taste which again is because I used way too much but I know they are acclimating to. I have a 5 year old and 15 year old and both beagles. There has been no throwing up and no diarrhea at all. I seriously recommend this product. If you buy I hope your results are as good as mine. What do you have to lose if you try it and it doesn’t work, a few dollars. What do you gain, a pup you don’t mind licking your nose or giving kisses to. My dogs have been using for 6 weeks now and breath still fresh. I’m pretty sure this will be my dog breath freshener for life including any new fur babies in the future. Earlier I mentioned a fountain water bowl. If you don’t have one I recommend. With the fountain very little Oxyfresh goes to waste. I only have to clean it about every 2 1/2 weeks. Before cleaning I’m able to add the Oxyfresh as I add more water. I also think it gives constant rotation of water so my pups are always getting the same amount every time they take a drink. Now another huge bonus: my dogs had their annual and the Vet couldn’t say enough how much their tartar had reduced and how healthy their gums are. That’s a win win for me especially when said last year that my 15 year old needed a deep cleaning which costs anywhere from $300-500. So you can easily see how much money OxyFresh could potentially save you. I’m still very very happy and still keep my 5 which would be a 10 if they went that high for the rating. **Q: In which country is this manufactured?**
A: Hi. The bottle says it is made in Coeur d’Alene Idaho.

**Q: Do you add a cap to the bowl of water, or do you add it to a liter and then pour? Confused**
A: My pets' (dog+cat) bowl holds about 2 cups of water. Per instructions on the Oxyfresh bottle, I pour about 1/2 a capful into the bowl of water. They drink it without issue. I experimented with another brand of water additive but they drank less water. I went back to Oxyfresh. Both my cat and my dog have had excellent teeth so far.

**Q: I have two cats, one with bad breath i've been trying to fix... i assume it's safe/nbd that both will end up drinking the water with this stuff in it?**
A: I purchased this for both my dog and my cat and both drink it without any issues.  My cat can be picky about some things, but he drinks his water with the additive in it. Now their breath smells good and their teeth are clean.

**Q: My cats routinely drink very little water. If I mix the Oxyfresh/water with cat food will it work?**
A: No, it will lose effectiveness. Recommend you try ½ the dose to see if the cat will drink the water. Then work up to the full dose.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for mouth irritation

Seems to work for bad breath, sore mouth and drooling probably caused by irritation. My two little ones in the house are as picky as cats can be but drink water with this solution in it with no complaint. They especially like it fresh and cool from the icebox chiller. Shorty drew all the short straws for cats, he is now nine but he has had a life of trouble so I have gone through several rounds of problems with him. One is that he has terrible flea allergies owing, I read, to things in flea saliva. This summer he chewed himself raw. In the past he has also had a cancer and tumor on his gums and eye and Eosinophilic Granuloma in his mouth treated with surgery and cortisone respectively. This last round of his troubles I was afraid one of the two was back, I think not now. Instead I think his gums are irritated from so much chewing. He drooled a lot and it was colored and smelled bad. A few years ago, after the EG he had open sores in his mouth and we used a product similar to Oxyfresh. After about a week the drooling has been reduced and I clean his windowsill perch less and less, his breath is much better, he seems more relaxed and happier. Cats are hard to read, they will purr when they are happy or dying. Be sure to refresh the water and add the Oxyfresh regularly. I change water morning and evening. I use natural treatments as much as possible and again have used a flea collar with Citronella, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Cedarwood and Cinammon to good effect in about two weeks.
