That said, the materials feel good and thick enough to keep off the rain. The straps are about 2cm thick so will be more comfy than the usual drawstring when I inevitably end up carrying it! I didn’t realise it had a zipped front pocket, which is very handy. It goes the length and width of the bag. No idea if it is waterproof between the two pockets or whether that is just the outside.
