I was looking for a sturdy spatula that would stand up to weather, wear and tear, and time. I've been using this item for the past few weeks and am very happy with it. It is as sturdy as advertised with the cutting edge coming surprisingly sharp. I was a tad disappointed at first with the handle length as I like to keep my fingers and knuckles as far from the magma-hot grill as I can, but I've been using it with no issues; I was just being overly cautious. The spatula's bottle opener works fine, however, I don't envision myself using it if I have food particles and juices running down the head. That's a feature I find completely unnecessary and more in line with the novelty type products, but at least it draws attention to the product when you're on the deck hanging out with buddies and someone needs a "fresh one" opened up.
