They are very easy to pull on and the rubber rings on the top help easily pull them up.They are pretty rugged and durable, able to withstand running around on asphalt as well as stomping through puddles, tromping through grass, and running around in the mud.We did end up with water in the boots a few times but just dump them out, leave them upside down to dry and they are become perfectly dry and we have not experienced any odor issues.The colors are nice and vibrant and the Unicorn print is very cute. We really liked that the whole boot was flat: so many boots we looked at had a heel which we didn't like for a toddler.
