You could definitely hurt someone with the spikes, so I don't think I would say this is LARP or convention safe. I will be repainting it to use as a photo prop, but if I didn't have a specific look in mind I'd definitely say this was good to go for most fantasy purposes. Review: Renn faire ain't ready for this Orc - This is great value for the price. You can tell it's not made for heavy larp, but for light playful action and a costume prop its perfect. It's pretty light, and it's got a metallic shiny outside to it that obviously doesn't look real, but certainly not like a cheesy accessory either. Plus it has spikes on the axe. That's why. I like it, this is perfect size for a 6 year old kid which I am. Plus it has 2 black stripes on it to hold in the middle. It is really strong so does not beak very quick.
